The School Resource Officer at Robbinsville Elementary serves several different roles.

1. My primary role here is to work with administration, faculty, staff and parents to provide the safest environment possible. Children should never have to worry about their safety while at school.

2. I serve as a resource for kids. I feel as though the time i have been here i have bridged the gap between the children and police officers. Kids learn they can trust me and find out that I am very approachable. I also teach various safety and prevention classes to the kids as well.

3. I also serve as a resource to the faculty and staff at RES as well.

4. I am also here to enforce any violations of the law according to the North Carolina General Statutes. I deal with all court related documents.

5. I have also coached Middle School and Varsity Baseball. I currently help coach the RHS Hunter Safety Shooting Team.
